Be aware of the background temperature of your marriage. If your wife
starts developing a parallel life with other people of different views,
then the one thing they will inevitably discuss is YOU ... and not always
in a complementary light!
This is a sure sign that your marriage is in trouble. Unfortunately there
is not much you can do, since forbidding your wife to see her friends
will only hasten the process and you don’t want that, you want to hang
on to your family and stuff for as long as possible and to have time to
put other concrete measures in place.
You will hardly believe it but that a mum can simply dump you at any time and be amply and fully rewarded for it, is simply unthinkable.... but UK law says they can do it ... and so they do do it!
At least 50% of women admit to cheating on their husbands (see a youTube clip of a wife getting caught out) and the DNA-testing firm Cellmark reports that in about one case in seven, the man who believes he is the father turns out to be the wrong man.
One in five women put down the wrong man on their application for Child Support and although the man can contest this (in the UK a man can contest paternity and must pay for a DNA test) women are not even repremanded for making false statements
So start opening lots of accounts with banks that are new to you. You will have to hide your money. If your marriage holds up then no harm is done. If not, then be assured that your wife is doing the same! Giving it to your mum or brother is no good; it still counts as yours, even as a debt.
With your Form E you have to submit your last year’s bank statements, so if you are transferring large amounts directly from your account start early and try to spin your marriage out for a year. Never make regular transfers...this is emergency rescue, not savings! The best is to try and take cash amounts of £450 (amounts of £500 and over have to be accounted for) as often as possible. Go shopping 2-3 times a week and get £50 cashback each time, while also drawing £200 a week at an ATM for running expenses. You should be aiming at rescuing £6.000 in 10 weeks. In dire times get a locked cabinet for your office and keep your cash there.
If you are running out of time then hide your marriage certificate, no-one can apply for a divorce without the original so this is a good stalling tactic and will enable you to rescue more cash while your wife waits for the duplicate to arrive.
The vast majority - some 92% - of divorce applications come from women. Research from the USA shows that the vast majority of women actually start to plan their divorce some 6 months before they send the application in. Typically the first thing the man knows about it is when the divorce papers are served on him.
